The boys decided to comfort Buddy while Mike changed the smoke detector batteries. Meanwhile, and while the boys were distracted, Miriam manged to scavenge Charlie's socks and both boy's milks.
And speaking of sweet boys, I found this picture of Peter and Charlie comforting Miriam during one of her many early-adolescent* melt downs.
*yes, I truly believe we have already entered adolescents
