Peter had a great time and did an impressive job keeping up with the 5 year olds at his friends birthday party. They played a racing game - Peter made it to the prize first every time but kept handing the prize over to the other team. They played pop the balloon which I think is my new favorite kids birthday game where we tied balloons around the kids ankles and they ran around and tried to pop each other's balloons. Peter and Bella chased each other the entire time. I'm considering having the kids do this activity every single night to expend energy! Finally, they went on a scavenger hunt where the prize was cake!
Between gymnastics and this party Peter had a very special and grown up day. Charlie enjoyed a special day with his daddy all to himself! Oh and we named to squeeze in shopping for new crocs!
