Petie went to school on Monday and loved it! He didn't have any social anxiety and really didn't even care when I gave him a kiss goodbye. His teachers (Ms. Jenn, Miss. Veda, and Miss Joanna) are very nice and he was smiling and laughing when Mike picked him up from school. Monday was a long day . . . almost 7 hours for him but the rest of the week will only be half days. We are getting the eating routine down with the teachers and will work on getting longer naps in a couple of weeks. I was disappointed at first to find out that we couldn't bring our own baby food - but know I think it is really nice that they provide all the food and formula - all we have to do is bring breastmilk. It makes the packing up in the morning a little bit nicer.
Petie is doing well having to wear clothing to school and I am having fun finally being able to show off his cute outfits!
Petie loves being with the other kids and really loves getting out of the house! He hasn't had very many kids at school with him this week b/c of the holidays but will have a full classroom next week so he will have even more friends!
Petie is in room 5 and his teachers just told me today that when the room 6 teachers saw him they thought he was so cute they were trying to trade kids so they could have Petie in their classroom!
